Jupiter Flights Balloon Festival

Where: Fishers, IN
Looking for a magical way to kick off September? The Jupiter Flights Balloon Festival at Conner Prairie is where you’ll want to be. There’s something truly enchanting about watching these massive balloons light up the evening sky. I’ve always loved grabbing a hot cocoa, finding a spot on the grass, and soaking in the sights with friends. It’s a special way to welcome the new season.

Penrod Arts Fair

“Indiana’s Nicest Day” truly lives up to its name! If you love art and culture, Penrod Arts Fair at Newfields is a must-see. I always find a unique piece to take home, reminding me of the creative spirit that makes our city so vibrant.

Ready for some bratwurst, beer, and dancing? The German American Klub Oktoberfest has all of that and more. This festival has always been a favorite of mine—the authentic food, lively music, and community spirit are unmatched. I love seeing everyone come together, raising their steins in a cheer to good times. Prost, Indy!

Mutt Strut

Dog lovers, this one’s for you! The Mutt Strut at Victory Field is one of those events that fills you with joy. Seeing all those happy dogs prancing around makes it impossible not to smile. Plus, it’s a great way to enjoy a day outdoors in the heart of the city.
